Logistics Coordinator
Full-Time, Permanent Position

Company Overview:
ReMM Group (ReMM) is a twenty-five-year-old company located in Brantford, Ontario. ReMM is committed to marketing materials from curbside recycling programs including paper, plastic, metal, and glass. ReMM has agreements with numerous North American recycling facilities and end markets to ensure recyclable materials are converted into new products. ReMM also provides waste management consulting services for municipal and private sector customers in Canada and the U.S.
ReMM continues to expand its’ business, thereby requiring a dynamic individual who can assume the role of logistics coordinator and support other facets of the business including account management and customer service.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

High school diploma or higher education

Logistics/Freight Industry – minimum of 2 years of previous work experience

Strong computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, QuickBooks

Effective communication skills – meetings, presentations, writing

Extremely well organized, time management and prioritization critical

Extremely motivated to learn our existing business and manage future growth

Desire and ability to work within all functional areas of a small business
The position is primarily focused on logistics management, but the individual will provide support to the account management and accounting as summarized below:
Logistics Management

Telephone and email inquiries from suppliers and customers
-
Obtaining freight rates
-
Scheduling transportation
-
Document verification – bills of lading, received weights, customs, invoices

Data entry – bills of lading, received weights
-
Problem solving – missed pick-ups, accurate paperwork, downgrades

Preparing monthly freight reports
Support Services
-
Assisting the Account Management team as required

Salary commensurate with experience

40 hours per week in Brantford office
